Explaining the hints for lepton flavour universality violation with three S2 leptoquark generations

A bstract Leptoquarks are prime candidates for explaining the intriguing hints lepton flavour universality violation. In particular, SU(2) L doublet of scalar leptoquarks S 2 is capable providing an explanation tensions between measurements and Standard Model predictions in ( g ? 2) ? , b ? s? + ? c?? processes, as well non-resonant di-electron production. However, minimal setup with a single leptoquark generation, common all these issues not possible this would lead to unacceptably large charged We therefore propose model three generations each coupling exclusively flavour, i.e. extending particle content by electroquark, muoquark tauquark. show that after taking into account other constraints, such those originating from electroweak precision observables ? F = it provide combined Moreover, we find presence tauquark can generate dimension-six $$ {\mathcal{O}}_9^U O 9 U operator via off-shell photon penguin diagrams, which, together contribution, further improves global fit data.
